"What a beautiful disk. Beautiful music played by an absolutely beautiful orchestra, beautifully interpreted. If you think Italy is all opera, think again. Each one of these is a very strong work for concert presentation and takes us on an emotional tour of that lovely country that has done more for Western culture than any other. All these works are of sterling quality and lead us into some musocological areas we haven't spent too much time exploring.On top of it, the sound is superb and the price ridiculously low. Even so, it's an elegant gift worthy of a special occasion for someone you really love. What it expresses is tremendous."
