Synopsis

Album Description
Any fan of true art knows that an artist is most alive when he is on stage. Tupac Live At The House of Blues is Tupac?s final recorded performance?eternalized on July 4, 1996 at the House of Blues on the Sunset Strip?and a celebration of his vital musical genius. One of the most respected aspects of Tupac?s grand personality was his absolute sincerity, and Tupac Live... stays true to that legacy: it is a completely honest performance sans censors and retakes. The performance, the energy and the artistry speak for themselves and further present Tupac as one of the most brilliant entertainers in the history of popular music and a master craftsman of the stage. Tupac Live is a fitting coda to Tupac?s legacy of brilliant performance before he moved on to immortality.

CD Reviews

I didn't think this would be great but it is
PAC MAN | NEW YORK | 10/08/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Most rap live is bad. This album isn't bad. The reason I gave it five stars though is because it is the COMPLETE performance unlike so many altered versions of other concerts. There is no editing and you hear Tupac critize Biggie so that was interesting to hear. Overall very good."
Makaveli Lives On...
Telekinesiz | Mexico City, Mexico | 10/05/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"What??? Any review yet? Damn, this is Tupac at his best. This is a truthful testimony of the man who mean Hip Hop. All caps intended. Buy this as soon as you can and remember to buy the DVD too! This is Tupac and Death Row at his best. At last a good piece of work by Death Row Records, not that piece of trash by the name of The Rose. This is the real 2Pac. M.I.A. Tupac Shakur... Makaveli Lives On..."
