The Native American flute has held it's own as a haunting original musical instrument of this western hemisphere for centuries. In the past years it has evolved into an acceptable instrument on an international level. There have been fine recordings over the years, starting with the very traditional tribal songs to newly composed songs based on the traditional melodies.
