Synopsis

Album Description
"Electronica for the Masses" The debut release Altered State, by TripThrottle, is an engaging and intelligent take on the Electronica genre. With elements of Dance, Break Beat, Techno, Ambient and straight up Rock and Roll, this album is a must for any electronica lover. The first track, Ascent, introduces the listener to beautiful piano sounds contrasted with aggressive guitars and sets the stage for a musical journey in true TripThrottle style. This album is truly "Electronica for the Masses".

CD Reviews

Incredible!
Stephen A. Doan | Rochester, NY USA | 02/01/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I got the demo album and it blew me away. I didn't think it could be improved. Wow, was I wrong! There's no way to discribe it, you have to hear it to believe it. This is the stuff I've looked for in bands like Lunatic Calm, but Tripthrottle blows em all away. It has clear, simple melodies without losing the hard rock sound, with incredible drum lines and amazing special effects. Simply the best!!!"
Excellent electronic escape

"This CD has certainly been wonderful to own. The music brings in a great mix of electronic sounds with an occasional guitar rip for a refreshing spin on the genre. I highly recommend taking a look at the downloads and at the clip of "Ascent". Just a few moments listening to these three songs, and you'll see what I mean."
