Synopsis

Product Description
Trina makes her return to claim the throne as the number one iconic female rapper. With a career that spans over a decade Trina shows trust artistry and a solid fanbase that has followed her as she grows not only as an artist but a person. Her last two album releases, debuted at #1 & #2 respectively on the R&B/Hip Hop chart, Trina is back with an updated sound and truly consistent album that proves he she has grown up, and matured as an artist. Heavy weight producers who collaborated on the album include Jim Jonsin (Lil Wayne, Soulja Boy, TI) JR Rotem (Rihanna, Sean Kingston, Britney Spears) , Justice League (Rick Ross, Young Jeezy, Mary J Blige), among others; along with guest appearances by Diddy, Keri Hilson, Nicki Minaj, Flo-Rida, Monica, Lyfe Jennings, and Lady Saw. The premiere single, "Million Dollar Girl," has Trina uniting with Diddy & Keri Hilson. The song is an up-tempo female anthem, sure to run rampant on listeners CD players and clubs nationwide.

CD Reviews

Like Wine!?!?

"I've never really been a big Trina fan and I can't say that I am now really. I used to consider her older albums headache music because that's exactly what I would get after trying to listen to one. She would have ok singles but the album as a whole wasn't great. However, starting from her third album Glamorest Life to Still Da Baddest, in particular, they have gradually been improving. I just finished listening to this entire album and I'm pleasantly surprised. Finally a Trina album that I don't have to hit the skip button on, I can actually play the whole cd though. I don't know whether or not if it is truly like wine and that she's getting better with age but whatever it is she needs to stick with it. I'd actually recommend her album to someone now."
An Amazin' Ride

"Like every Trina release, "Amazin'" suffered a few push backs before ultimately arriving in stores on May 4. The album features the street single; "That's My Attitude" which is one of the more explicit tracks on the album. First single; "Million Dollar Girl" features Diddy & Keri Hilson stalled on the R&B charts and its a shame it didn't go further.

Listening to "Amazin'" you will see there are a lot of potential single choices and most of them would rival "Million Dollar Girl" such as "By Myself" or "On Da Hush"; two strong contenders for future singles. Trina has been about cleaning up her act a little but she seems like she was trying to appeal to everyone here. She gives us the raunch; the class; the love ballads; etc.

I think over the years Trina hasn't found a successful single is because she picks what she thinks radio will play as opposed to picking a strong song that will make a good single whether its more R&B themed or Hip Hop themed.

I am proud of Trina and happy for her that she is still here after all these years and I will continue to support her. I really do like this album and the tracks are banging. "Dang A Lang" is a treat to here especially Nicki Minaj. The beat on "Currency" is ridiculous and Lil' Wayne makes a surprise appearance. "White Girl" will make you wanna dance a little and is quite laughable. "My Bitches" is fun and gets its point across.

You should definitely check this album out and besides it will probably be 1 of 2 female album releases this year; the other possibly being from Nicki Minaj."

"Trina's album is a definate chart topper, it was a big change from her last 4 albums and various mixtapes. Trina should be able to reach a different type of fan base with this album. If you haven't heard it yet your ears are missing something serious.
