2007 release of a limited edition album by the Canadian quintet that includes a bonus EP featuring the band's previous 7" releases! The Tranzmitors have "a stage presence similar to a bandlike Cheap Trick in their prime" reckons Exclaim magazine, "complete with epic guitar solos and infectious sing-alongs". As another US review said of a January 07 show, "the group put enough straight-from-the-garage-energy to make you wonder what you ever saw in The Hives." Bruce Dunn, Mike Flintoff, Jeffrey McCloy, Jarrod O'Dell and Nick Thomas had previously played in a variety of punk and power pop outfits in and around Vancouver, including The Smugglers, The New Town Animals and The Parallels. Enough heritage for Exclaim magazine to note that they "were dubbed a supergroup from the beginning." As The Tranzmitors, they have played alongside the likes of The Clorox Girls, The Spits, The Pointed Sticks and Fucked Up.
