CD Reviews

Glorious!
Mary K. Ruggiero | Petaluma, California United States | 08/29/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Tommy Fleming's majestic voice and full emotional range are put to stunning use in this two disk set. Sit back, hug a box of Kleenex and prepare for tears of elation, joy and appreciation. I guarantee, at least one of the songs will reach your heart.

He just gets better and better with every CD. This collection borders on transcendent."
Perfect Irish Tenor

"This is a terrific DVD if you like Irish tenors singing inspirational music with a little balladeering as well. I've heard a lot of Irish tenors (and other tenors, too) in my time and this is one of the lovliest voices I've come across. I'm only surprised that I'd never heard of him before and only encountered this DVD while browsing through other Irish music. In any event, he is well worth searching out--his voice is beautiful and his stage presence impressive. This DVD, filmed at Knock in Ireland, is full of great songs, among them some of my personal favorites such as "God Is Watching", "Morning Has Broken", "The Rose" (sung very well by a female guest but not by Fleming, unfortunately, who would have been superb), "Danny Boy" (yes, I know you're sick of hearing this but believe me, this one is different), "The Prayer", etc. This is truly a remarkable voice and a really fine DVD."

"I have listened to many tenors and Tommy is the very best in his genre that I have ever heard and among the very best of all genre."
