Two broadcasts from February 1940 & August 1942 feature the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra from the period referred to as "The Frank Sinatra Years". The first from the opening night at the Meadowbrook also features a rare vocal outing by the Pied Piper?s Jo Stafford and the second is from the stage of the Capitol Theatre, Washington, D.C. Both of them represent a sample of Tommy?s prodigious musical output during a period that collectors regard as his most exciting.
