It was a shocking blow to the Latin music world but peace was made after all and a legacy of great music was left to us starting with this album. Típica 73 became very successful and lasted for many years to come, releasing some of the best and most progressive albums in New York City's salsa history. Maybe it was due to the incredible combination of talent and creativity, as well as their system of functioning as a cooperative, not only in the fair distribution of salaries, but also in an equal division of duties and labor. Sadly, as we know, the band eventually split in two. This reissue is extremely rare and is a must for all collectors and tropical music lovers alike.
