Comedy You Can Two-Step To!

"I'd never heard of Tim Wilson 'til a Conroe, Texas, country station aired his "Acid Country" cut about a kid "raised on Pink Floyd and Floyd Cramer" by a hillbilly hippie momma in a home that "smelled of incense and cathead biscuits." Haven't come across such a great combination of hip humor and good country music since Run C&W, so I immediately ordered the album. The rest of the disc is just as good. Wilson's "It Takes A Village (To Raise a Nut)" explores with a good Cajun beat the unintended results of a spoiled brat raised in the touchy-feely socialism expounded by Hillary Clinton and Al Gore. "Momma Was A Hit Man" uses brassy rhythm and blues to trace a lineage from Lee Harvey Oswald through Sirhan Sirhan and James Earl Ray. "First Baptist Bar & Grill" is good gospel about a church where "if you don't like our doctrine and think we're not devout, we'll have our bouncer throw your butt out." True country fans will appreciate Wilson's put-down of Garth Brooks who "looks like a cowboy air-controller with that ugly little microphone." Now you've got to love lyrics like those! Some irreverent standup comedy is mixed with the songs. But this is one comedy album you'll keep listening to, even after you know all of the jokes."
Fantastically funny, hilarious.

"This is my first Tim Wilson recording and I have listened to it everyday since buying it. It puts me in a great mood, and makes my day go a little better. I'm a professional musician and I'm so impressed with Mr. Wilson that I would quit my current gig to work with him, hint, hint."
Totally Hilarious!

"I first heard this cd at my Sister-in-Law's house. We howled through the whole thing. I had to order it for our own house!"
