"i bought this having enjoyed kinsellas' other musical project: joan of arc. my recommendation to potential buyers is that you make sure you dig joan of arc before you venture into kinsellas solo piece. if you havent grown accustomed to his spoken word-seemingly-freestyle-crackly voice than you may not enjoy this album. however, if you enjoy kinsella dont turn this album down. it has four acoustically remastered joan of arc songs as well as three recently written songs. the three new songs are on fire lyrically and accompanied by kinsellas' eclectic acoustic guitar work."

"I think most people will listen to this cd and think it is horrible, pretentious, and boring. To me, I find this is just another gem from the Kinsella fountain of talent. I as of yet have not heard what Mike Kinsellas is putting out but I've heard great things. Tim, on the other hand, seems to be a very artsy and confusing individual on cd. His guitar playing is decent but at times how hard could it be to just strum two chords? His voice is the main appeal for me, it's a flowing mess that to big fans of his other bands would hear sweet melodies and enchanting rhythms, while other [or should say i most] people will just hear an flat/sharp attempt at singing poetry. His lyrics are always great quality, this cd opting for a peverted entrance into poetry with the second track. Look, I'll put it to you straight, I [ME] loves this cd and will cherish it for a long time, but you [NOT ME] most likely will hate this. For serious fans of Tim Kinsellas, especially considering the majority of songs are stripped down Joan of Arc songs which I almost prefer in solo/acoustic form. Just great amazing stuff from the crazy pretentious Tim Kinsellas."
