Growing up in the notorious housing project The Towers, regular hallway rhyme sessions between two (2) young jr. high school students soon became a life long friendship and endless home studio sessions. With a MPC-2000 provided by an older brother, the two (2) set out to form The Legacy. With a self produced HOTT!! Underground album entitled Street Documentary Vol. 1 and various performances on local mixtapes by DJ?s Big E, J-Quest, and P-Eazy, The Legacy caught the attention of Suth?n Boi CEO Anthony ?Karolina? Pratt. After signing Legacy to a recording contract and Hershey to a production contract the duo released Amerika & Hershey in Nov. 2001. Having moved 2500 copies throughout the southeast, The Legacy has managed to build a solid fanbase. Now with the anticipated release of Moment of Silence, they are looking to satisfy their current fans and gain many new ones. Legacy has been compared to many veteran artists in the industry, but Legacy brings their own unique flavor from the heart of the streets. Amerika's laid back flow is the perfect compliment to Hershey's musical masterpieces. These fiery young guns are ready to take over the commercial airwaves.
