The Flashbacks, the beach and oldies group that has been rockin? the S.C.Upstate for six years, is excited that its newest project, Shakin?, was released by Ripete Records on June 15, 2001. Recorded and mixed at Bradley House Studios in Quinby, South Carolina, and produced by Larry Pope, Fred Shaw, and The Flashbacks, the CD is a collection of ten distinctive songs that includes two original tunes written by Kenny Burger, saxophonist and vocalist with the group. ? Shakin? ? and ?Let?s Have a Party? are both high-energy dance numbers that spotlight Kenny?s unique talents and smooth vocals. The remaining eight selections are classic oldies into which The Flashbacks have breathed new life and presented in a fresh, updated manner.
