Synopsis

Album Description
Tough-as-nails street punk from Boston's answer to Oxymoron. Taken from the same session that produced "Razors in the Night" these songs were originally broadcast over the local airwaves via WMBR in Cambridge. Self-described as 'dirty water rock and roll,' The Ducky Boys brand of Oi/street-punk often draws comparisons to Sham 69, Blitz, Cocksparrer, Social D. and the Anti-Heros. Following the lead of the DK Murphys, this CDep shows why the Ducks are at their best in a live setting.

CD Reviews

The 6 song live EP that appeals to everyone!
04/05/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"Ducky Boys are from Boston and play a brand of street punk similar to Dropkick Murphys, so if you're into their sound, you'll definitely dig the Ducky Boys sound. This album is a six song EP that was recorded in the WMBR radio studio which is MIT University's campus radio station. This album is 17 solid minutes of punk and the six songs are all ones that Ducky Boys fans should recognize, being, "These Are the Days", "We'll Find A Way", "I'll Rise Up", "The River", "Nothing At All", and "The Wanderer" which was originally played by Dion. Good stuff this cd."
A intense cd that teaches you what street punk is all about.

"The Ducky Boys make you feel like you are right there with them on this cd. It gives off an intense feeling that i thought was only possible to feel at an actual show. The Ducky Boys put on one of the most intense shows around. After you listen to this cd you will know what i'm talking about. If you are already a fan of the Ducky Boys you'll love this cd because it contains such classics as," I'll rise up," and," The River.""
