Synopsis

Product Description
For almost four decades, legions of fans listened to the music of the Doobie Brothers, one of the most enduringly popular American bands in rock history. The Doobies got their start in the San Francisco Bay area scene of the late 1960s, graduating from local clubs to concert stages
worldwide. Their freewheeling,
melodic, harmony-heavy sonics fusing pop, rock, jazz, R&B and
more into an indelible signature
sound unleashed a long string of chart singles and multi-platinum albums This hit-packed compilation spotlights the group's phenomenally successful mid- 70s to early- 80s
Michael McDonald-fronted era, featuring ten classics including the GRAMMY®-winning Minute By Minute and What A Fool Believes, a #1 Billboard® pop smash. Highlights also include the favorites Little Darling (I Need You), One By One,
Echoes Of Love, and more.

(5 out of 5 stars)

"You know it kills me how resistant people are to change. Bands change. Music changes. Life is change. Roll with it. I became a Doobie Bros. fan back in the 70's when Black Water hit the radio. I got the first "Best of the Doobies" (Vol. 1) album and I absolutely loved it! Great album! Good rock and roll! Then as music changed and evolved so did the Doobies. They became more of a contemporary pop/rock band than a southern rock and roll band. If you're looking for an album more like the first volume you're not going to get it. This is the softer poppier side of the Doobies. If you like good contemporary pop/rock from the late 70's early 80's era this is a great album!"
