Now that that's out of the way: The Templars is a band that any fan of punk or Oi! should check out: they bring something new to the table besides the old Oi! paradigm. You can detect all kinds of influences: Old school rock 'n' roll in the vein of the Rolling Stones and CCR. The instrumentals are very solid, with an old school semi-clean late '60s guitar sound and good interlocking solo guitar work. Pick up this release for a great street rock 'n' roll sound." |
