Ted Mentry and his band released two albums in the early eighties to high critical acclaim, (Illustrated Victims in 1981 and Artful Dodger in 1984) and quickly became the darlings of the Rocky Mountain music scene. After constant touring and a relentless live schedule, Ted Mentry, who had opened for everyone from Firefall to Lynyrd Skynyrd, abruptly disbanded the group and disappeared from the circuit and remained an enigma for more than 15 years. Ted MentryÕs back and better than ever and, while no tour dates have been announced at this time, what transpired during this extended hiatus seems clearly documented in Get A Life , the incredible new CD which was released with a Laser show and reception at the Fiske Planetarium on the CU campus on Dec. 10th to a standing ovation and rave reviews.
