Syreeta's most sensual album....
semaj emorej | dallas, texas United States | 11/01/2004
(5 out of 5 stars)

"one to one is the beautiful syreeta's most sensual album yet.

released 3 years after her masterpiece with stevie,'stevie

wonder presents syreeta'this beautiful album has the musical

production of the gifted leon ware with co-production by

syreeta and curtis robertson jr.the album opens with the title

track a very upbeat but sensual warm romantic song with syreeta's soft sexy vocals singing about the pleasures of

physical love between 2 people.she sweetly sings:'i need,i need,i need!'... the next track "i don't know" is more upbeat

with stretching her vocals as far as they could go. the song

climaxes with a fast pace."rest yourself" a moderate paced

song with syreeta informing us 2 slowdown in life by taking it

easy 2 rest our minds and bodies."i too am waiting" a very

sweet sensual tender ballad of which the beginning of the song

sounds like the middle of a tv or movie theme.otherwise the

song is about physical longing 4 love.4 this song, syreeta's

sweet voice gives a nod 2 minnie riperton."tiki tiki donga"

is an upbeat spicy percussive number with it's soulful jazz

edges and beautiful ad-libs by syreeta."don't cry"is another

soulful tender slowjam of which syreeta tells us 2 be strong

and 2 hold on despite all the pain in life we may all experience."harmour love"is the only stevie wonder written track on the album.it was written in 1975.the song has an island

flavor 2 it with syreeta&stevie providing a beautiful duet.

the album ends with the title cut remixed beautifully.

"one to one"i say again is syreeta's most sensual album..."
