Their first cd, 'A Boiling Vat of Adhesive Xmas', still wows both fans and philistines alike. How could it not? Both cd's share a great sense of fun, wildness, experimentation, and superb musicianship. Don't let those descriptions scare you, though. The sounds in here express true love, deep love, committed love. In fact, if you love someone, this could be the disc to get them. Especially if they are into hearing something a bit out of the ordinary. This newest set includes stupendous muscianship, crooning vocals, twists and turns, humor, longing, the human spirit... While bathed in the tones of yesteryear, it sounds very fresh and new. Give these guys a chance, and some time. Once they have all of the other holidays covered, it'll be Substance W--- Year 'Round!"
