Yes, this is the one that really cooks. Most of it was on the Metronome and later Storyville lp's. With Kenny Drew on piano, Niels Orsted Petersen on bass, and Alex Riel on drums, the music never stops swinging. This is THE outstanding later years Stuff Smith. It's live from the Jazzhus Montmartre in Copenhagen and the sound quality is excellent. This cd has an additional 3 tracks from a radio broadcast that are previously unreleased bringing the total playing time to a healthy 72:21.

It really is a fantastic recording that will put a smile on your face and keep your toes a-tapping. Heartily recommended!"
