CD Reviews

Superchill and groovalicious
Margarita Verano | Margaritaville, ATL | 11/13/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a super-chill cd that scores way high on the groove-factor (as Stryke does) ... It's one you can listen to when you feel like decompressing after a long night of partying; first thing while waking up, or to set up a nice vibe (good for mood music too). The beats are fantastic, and I would recommend this cd to just about anyone. Not just dance music lovers. It reminds me of walking through the lobby of a W hotel & listening to groovy beats... Like you're ready to shake it, but with a couple notches turned down. Think candlelight, hanging out and relaxing."
Great Album
Brian Foster | Alameda, CA United States | 06/02/2001
(5 out of 5 stars)

"The Florida DJ Stryke has put together a compilation album of the very best electronica artists in the world. The great thing about this album is the variety and musical flavor which comes from the diversity of the artists. Musical styles from around the world, including the Latin rythmns of Ian Pooley, have at last been incorporated into the growing Electronica - aka Techno - genre and Stryke has presented them in one great album. In addition to the variety in musical style, the tempo of the songs varies from ambience to break-beat to relaxed trance. While the album is diverse and flavorful, Stryke has craftily blended the songs together so that they have a collective feeling and continuity. This album is a great representation of modern electronic music, and anyone who likes Electronica should check this one out."
