Album Description

The debut effort from this Memphis based group showcases an dazzling knack for songwriting and expanding boundaries within the band's own boundaries. From the gospel influenced breakdown in songs like "Move" to the jazzy and spacious "Crazy Eyes", "On The Rocks" leads you in and takes you out on the soulful playing of Craig Schuster on keys. The solid rhythm section of Robert Kamm (drums), Rory Gardner (bass), and Tony Walsh (percussion) leaves room for Matthew Oliver (guitar) and Craig Schuster to sink their teeth into the meat of the song or to float on top of the melody.

Awesome down home rock

"This CD is great! Good solid soulful/bluesy rock with plenty of good percussion and piano/organ. I picked it up at a show where Stout was playing in Memphis. I originally went to see Jazz Mandolin Project, but these guys ended up being the main event for me. They're very friendly and talkative, too. When I asked if they had a CD, Craig, the piano player and lead singer (who used an ironing board as a keyboard stand -- classic!), went out of his way to personally go grab one for me. I haven't been able to find anything about any recent activity by the band, though. I hope they're still together."
