"If you love guitar-driven music and are looking for something interesting that still rocks, then Stevie Salas may be for you. S&TE,V1 is a 2-disc collection that spans the "best of" Stevie Salas to date and includes a wide range of funk, rock and ballads.

It's kind of a Hendrix-meets-Tom Morello sound, and at times it's out of this world! Mostly contemporary, slightly cheesy, definitely head banging, high energy, funky and pretty original.

Stevie has big credits too... he used to play for George Clinton (Parliament), has toured with Rod Stewart and Mick Jagger, and provided the fingerwork for Rufus's stunning guitar solo in Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Not bad for an unknown guitar God."
STEVIE SALAS - SHOULD BE A SUPERSTAR!!

"This guys is THE most underrated guitarist/songwriter around today! You name the genre, he can play it or write it! That said, his solo work is mostly very funky, soulful hard rock. He's a great vocalist and can shred when he wants to or lay back in his solos. Get ANY of his CDs, starting with this one and be prepared to be blown away!"
