"cool album! it sounds very out of time; sort of 60s, sort of now, sort of 2017. i don't know what this other reviewer is talking about in terms of throwback to the 70s...i wish he'd tell me which records he was listening to that sounded like this from the 70s so that i can go buy them. anyway, i give it 5 stars for a few reasons: there are many different types of musical moods, real messages without being preachy in every song, and just that its recorded in the bedroom and is so original. it's not a total stand-alone, as there are similarities to silver apples, suicide, and the residents...but this is definitely more diverse than anything by any of those bands."
