Including the open improvised spaces of Steve Lacy?s spiky angular soprano (thoroughly revealed through the superlative Tao session heretofore unreleased) and Derek Bailey?s clarity of dancing thought across the fret board shaded through Andrea Centazzo?s reacting percussion work. Or Centazzo?s thoroughly scored Mitteleuropa Orchestra featuring a number of individual voices capable of collective improvisation similar to the ICP Orchestra but within a more definitive yet limber structures- individuality is the common thread above all else.
