Steve Cramer's A False Sense of Security is his second theme album and follow-up to his rock opera, Miracles. A False Sense of Security is a story of the loss of innocence and the search for identity and a sense of belonging. A False Sense of Security contains eleven original songs combining rock, classical, jazz, and blues influences plus two cover songs written by Cincinnati songwriter Larry Parsons. Also included in the CD version is a twelve page lyric booklet featuring a photo essay by Betsy van Gemeren and Steve Cramer.
