Completing a Spring tour across the central and SE United States, the group produced this retrospect of the current state of the band - and it's the best in years!!! Standing ovations and nobody wanted the band to stop!!! The band delivered truly remarkable, memorable concerts of music old and new. The band sounds solid - the selections are accessible and enjoyable...very nice program of the real deal! During the tour they were able to reach 46 different schools with their insight and playing...a true passing of tradition, and the youth loved it!!! An incredible rhythm section driven by bassist Jennifer Leitham, and the youngest member of the group - Charlie Ferguson (filling Stan Kenton's role on piano) who is destined to do some special things over the course of his career...The average age of the Sax section, 57, Trombones, 64, and the trumpets, 72!!!.....We're not talkin' spring chickens!!...We're talking hundreds of years of experience!!!....
