"I'm not sure how many people listen to spirit of the west, but I know it isn't enough. This CD is one of their finest achievements. My personal favorit's are, well, ALL OF THEM!!!! I've been a big fan of these guys for a while now, and they offer the best music to satisfy my every mood. This CD is filled with brillant writting, astonishing vocal works, and let's not forget the always captivating music. The live tracks will give you a basic feel of a show, but doesn't compare to the real thing. With celtic music on the rise, this band and their music is paving the way."

"Me again, if you've been following the Spirit reviews. These guys (and gal) are amazing and highly underrated. This CD is raw, very live sounding and very traditional. Great if you like the traditional Canadian east coast sound or sort of rootsy scottish music."

"I have known and loved Spirit Of The West since they first got started in the early 1980s. The original three band members produced some of the best celtic folk 'n roll music I have ever heard to this day, and John Mann's rich voice is second to none. Their earliest works remain their best, and this CD belongs in every library!"
