Johnny Heering | Bethel, CT United States | 04/07/2009 (4 out of 5 stars) "When Rykodisc aquired the rights to David Bowie's record catalog, they preceded the release of his actual albums with this box set. It is not really a "best of" set, it is more of a sampler of songs from all of Bowie's albums from 1969 to 1980. Almost all the albums are represented by three songs, with some of the songs being rarities from the album sessions. I should point out that none of the rarities featured here were included on the Rykodisc reissues of Bowie's actual albums. Aside from the songs, there is a music video of "Ashes to Ashes" which was playable on a laserdisc player, if you rememember that obsolete technology. This is a pretty good box set, but it's not really a definitive collection, since many of Bowie's most popular songs were left off of it."
