Album Description

2009 release containing two rarely heard and long unavailable concerts by the Sonny Rollins-Don Cherry piano-less quartet, recorded in New York and Stockholm. As a bonus, a previously unissued version of '52nd Street Theme' has been added. It was recorded in Rome during the same European tour as the Stockholm set. Features musical assistance from Bob Cranshaw, Billy Higgins and Henry Grimes. Seven tracks including 'The Star Spangled Banner', 'Without A Song' and 'Oleo'. RLR.
