"I am always glad to see the songs of Sonny and Cher available.So far there has been an excellent MCA box-and a competent 3 disc set on their singles (European-dutch import),but the Atco catalog has yet to be mined for Euro material or anything obscure. This is a cute tin box with nice artwork inside.However two of the discs have been released in other forms (flashback, and All I ever need is you(a budget release in the 80's or early 90's?)

To make a long story short there is little if anything new here.

Two reprise cuts from the Baby don't go lp are nice with atco cuts.

The LONG version of MCA "Mama was a rock and roll singer is here(about 9 min).Quite a strange opus.

But...This set is a great scan of their hit years and career.If you are a new comer to their catalog it is a decent buy.If you are a die hard fan-this may disappoint as it offers very little new,except a packaging that is cute.I would love to see a disc of out-takes or the european singles from the 60's.Or maybe a live 60's album."

"i probably didnt need to buy this. i must have almost everything on it. the first two cds seem to be remastered but the third is not. in fact i'm sure i have the third on a solo cd. and if you want remastered versions of A COWBOYS WORK IS NEVER DONE or ALL I EVER NEED IS YOU -THE WAY OF LOVE COLLECTION is the better way of going about getting those. but the box is nifty and the booklet is cool so it was worth the price."
