"In Case You're In Love is an outstanding Sonny & Cher record album reproduced here on CD. The sound quality is excellent and the artwork is also quite good; I believe it's the same artwork from the record album. Sonny & Cher certainly are in good form on this album!

The track set opens with their big hit entitled "The Beat Goes On." The percussion marks the beat very well; Sonny & Cher sing this with passion and it all works very well. "Groovy Kind Of Love" is a very well done cover of this early rock and roll love song; Sonny & Cher delivers this really well and the musical arrangement makes great use of the guitars and the percussion. There's also "Monday;" this tune is new to me but I like it very much. They sing beautifully and I predict you'll enjoy "Monday" a lot.

"Love Don't Come" was always one of my very favorite songs by Sonny & Cher; this tune highlights their singularly beautiful style together and they bat this one straight out of the ballpark! "Love Don't Come" is a major highlight of this album. "We'll Sing In The Sunshine" by Gale Garnett really does stand out when Sonny & Cher perform it with heart and soul; you can tell they enjoyed recording this with just one listen to it. The music that accompanies their vocals works very well to embellish this tune even further.

"Misty Roses" is a tender rock ballad that uses the strings very well; and listen also for "Stand By Me." "Stand By Me" is a touching ballad by Ben E. King; and Sonny & Cher perform this cover of this song without a single flaw. "Living For You" is yet another fine love ballad that rocks at the same time it sends out a heartfelt message about a love affair. "A Beautiful Story," a bonus track, also sparkles when Sonny & Cher give this their all; and the music is very well done.

"Good Combination," another bonus track, has a fantastic, upbeat tempo and the percussion along with the electric guitars make the melody very pretty. Cher sings this especially well and Sonny remains in great form. His voice is rich and full of masculine warmth. The album ends well with Sonny & Cher perform one last bonus track entitled "Plastic Man;" this tune has a great melody and Sonny & Cher sing this 1960s sounding rock ballad with all their might. The brass really shines on "Plastic Man," too.

Sonny & Cher definitely made some pretty fine music in their time together; and this album proves it. People can say it's not their favorite album but I like it very much. Sonny & Cher fans will want this for their collections.

This is an exciting pop lp ,creative and up-beat in tone

"In Case You're in Love has many origional Bono compositions, including the pan-european "Little Man", and the gypsy-like "Love Don't Come". "The Beat Goes On", a top 10 hit in 1967, has become a signature anthem of the flower-power years. There is a nice cover of Bob Linds' "Cheryl's Goin' Home", and a sweet Cher vocal on "We'll Sing in the Sunshine", a Gale Garnett hit.The harmonies are well done and the production more varied and fresh than they were in " The Wondrous World of Sonny and Cher". It has been said that this lp contained out-takes, and was inferior because of it. The truth is, that the material regardless of its' orgin is superior songs and arrangements. This cd stands the time test and is good "pop" music!"
