CD ReviewsHere AIN'T The Sonics! 10/16/2000 (3 out of 5 stars) "This is not bad but it's not really the legendary 60s garage punk group. It's a late 70s New Wave band called the Invaders who got Gary Roslee (the original band's screamer)out of retirement and renamed themselves Sonics. The versions of "he's waitin"", "boss hoss", "Sinderella" are good & this version of "Louie Louie" is even better than the 1965 take. But this is not an introduction to the band.
