I don't typically like Christian bands, but this music is actually really good. A couple of the songs just sounded great right off the bat, and most of the others really grew on me after a while. I bought about four other albums by this band afterwords, but unfortunately for me, this one was by far the best.

CD Reviews

Great CD, I've owned it for a while and can't get enough!

"I was first surprised with the bloops and bleeps as I stuck the new CD in my CD player. I thought this is totally different from their first CD which just rocked the house, but I began to like the new Skillet. I found their lyrics are their strongest point and can just blow you away with their spirituality. I recomend this CD to anyone, ANYONE! I have become a true Panhead!"
It rocks! Everyone buy it!

"I hadn't heard too much of Skillet, until I went to one of their concerts. I became so totally obsessed with them after, and I still am after more than three months! My fave song is "More Faithful" although that's a very tough choice to make. They're all so good! The only song I don't really like is "Pour". It's a great song, but they shouldn't have stuck it between "More Faithful" and "Suspended In You", the two best songs on the album. More often than not, I skip over it. I also really love "Whirlwind". What powerful lyrics! I find "Scarecrow" to be the story of my life, and it is challenging me to change. Basically, this CD is a winner, because not only does it have powerful, God-centered lyrics, they are driven by equally powerful musical passion. I was also really impressed by all the band members humility as they were on stage. They didn't want people to worship them. All our worship went to God that evening."
