"Yes, I bought this because Kevin Costner was singing on it, but I'm still listening to it because I like it. I gave it a 4 out of 5 only because it's a little difficult to categorize, it seems to me to be a little bit country/rock/folk and pop.Kevin Costner co-wrote the lyrics to two of the songs and he sings the lead on all ten pieces. His voice is young and fun; very much the smart, polite, sexy, eternal frat-boy, with a very sincere, very engaging and pleasant sound. There is nothing fancy here, it's very folksy in the sense of the words carrying the weight, but it's got a true rock 'n roll feel to it too. "Jenny I Know", is touching and probably my favorite; "Victor", is a riot (I just started dancing along right away - learned the words quickly too); "Love Among the Ruins", is a fun story about hanging in there which a previous reviewer was right to say has something we can all relate to. It's not Andrea Bocelli or U2 or Sting, but if you like the Springsteen/Tom Petty sound or the country/rock sound this would be a great addition to your music collection. It's the sort of CD I would bring along on a road trip. Appropriately enough I think, coming from the guy who looks like he's in his element cruisin' in a classic car, drumming the steering wheel with his thumbs as he, just like the rest of us, keeps working on getting through the downs and fully celebrating the ups on the freeway of life.:-)"

"The lyrics and music were good .... Kevin has a great voice! My favorite is 'Love Among the Ruins' ... kind of song everyone can relate to! My only wish .... is to talk to him! There's always "HOPE" and that's a great title for his next song!"

"This is the CD of Kevin Costner's little known band. Kevin sings all of the songs and helped write some too. It's fun to listen to, although some of the songs have no point. But "American Pie" has no point either and IT is fun! This is just a neat CD to hear with some good, mello music. Not a classic, but definalty a conversation piece!"
