Amazing and long gone

"Seven Stories put out two incredible albums in the early '90s, this beautiful, dark yet funny classic and a second album called Everything you want, nothing that you need. The second album tried in some ways to sound like INXS but is still enjoyable in its own way. After "Judges" you can tell the big studio execs got hold of the band and tried to strangle them. Not here. Judges and Bagmen is melodic from start to finish, every song is outstanding, poignant, and memorable. Most importantly the band has a distinct sound that comes from deep in the heart of Australia. The sound is not overdubbed or overmixed. After 10 years, I still listen to this CD all the time."
