September, a pseudonym for Petra Markland, is a pop and dance singer who has reached the Billboard Hot Dance Airplay Top 10 two times with her internationally acclaimed 2005 single "Satellites' and 2006 single 'Cry For You'. While danceable and catchy, the songs always have its base in Petra's dark, surprisingly sad voice that lingers in your ears, making them stick out from the hit parades on the radio. As stated on September's Myspace page: "Petra Marklund was born determined. By the time she was twelve, she was already in studios recording. At seventeen, she was singing in a rock ban. When she graduated from Swedish high school, Petra nailed a record deal.

"This album is September's first one. Before this I had bought "In Orbit" which also very good but this is even better! There's such great dance music - just unbelievable. There's no ballads - just pure dance music with great female vocals. I don't know who the singer is - but I'd like to know because it is not mentioned. Anyway, she sings perfectly. This album is well-produced, and the songs are just awesome. Anoo Bhagavan is a guest vocalist on "Love for Free" which is a great closing track. All the songs in this album are great!

"I purchased this cd after really enjoying her latest Cd "In Orbit". What makes September different than other dance/pop artists is her wonderfully rich and emotional vocals. If you like In Orbit, you can't go wrong with this one. The producers: Anoo Bhagavan and Niclas and Jonas von der Burg have a great nack for creating fun memorable tunes that you don't get bored of after one listen."
