A nice grundgy sound. I like Nirvana, Pearl Jam, TAD, etc...and this rates right up with them! Glad I gave it a try.

Worth the wait

"Dog-Man summed it up pretty well. This release has been long overdue, but it brings the thunder. Scissorfight have been able to keep the intensity moving forward, while tightening their sound, not changing it...but making it sharper. Gone are the growling snarls from Ironlung(lord knows how long a human or non-human can keep that up), but the vocals are in your face non-the-less. The lock-step guitar/bass/drums are as tight as ever. Initial standouts for me are "Dynamite"(opener that is as hard as any that they have released), "The Dredge"(perhaps their best song to date), and "Mange"(eery guitar with Weiland type megaphone vocals)...but the whole disc is rock solid. Slight departures are "Fang"(instrumental that really shows groove) and "Appalachian Chain"(blue grass feel). How Scissorfight will top this..let's hope we find out. Best hard rock band out there in my opinion."

"Purchasing this album on a hunch, I was blown away when I first gave it a listen. Riff madness from start to finish with growling vocals like a dog latched on to his bone. I really like the vocal variety from track to track that seems to add that special touch to each song. Lyrically the tracks are fun and don't make a mockery of the damn good music these guys put out.

This album is HUGE from a fans standpoint and I can't imagine any other way to describe it. Just turn up your volume and crank up the bass a notch to feel it. For fans of Alabama Thunderpussy, SWS, White Zombie and the like."
