CD Reviews

ROYAL BLISS ascends to the Throne!
Cash McCloy | Newport Beach, CA United States | 02/02/2007
(5 out of 5 stars)

"I predict that the title for this review will be the headline on the cover of Rolling Stone or SPIN magazine soon. If you enjoy guitar driven energetic rock songs with really catchy riffs, killer vocals, original arrangements, and creative lyrics that speak to the heart and soul (ala Pearl Jam only better) you're gonna bow to Royal Bliss. After The Chaos II is a solid album from top to bottom. It sounds like a greatest hits album with no filler. It's hard to pick a favorite song but be sure to check out: Here They Come, Devils and Angels, Brave, All In My Head and Sweet Rosie.

I just happened to catch their live show while in Utah recently for a ski trip. Seeing the `Bliss was the great unexpected highlight from that trip. I also had a chance to meet Neal Middleton (lead vocal) and Taylor Richards (lead guitar). Truly Royal, great cats with awesome chops. I'm a huge fan. Frankly, I listen to a tremendous amount of music and I'm very hard to impress. It is becoming quite a rare event these days that I am won over by a new band. Most bands, singed or unsigned, just don't seem to be able to write, especially with any consistency. The Bliss is truly worthy of Royalty. They have a slew of hit songs, they're awesome on stage, and they are great, down to earth guys.

This CD KILLS me

"I heard "Brave" on a local station so when the band came to town I went and checked out the show....WOW! The singer was amazing, I have never seen anyone with such control of their vocal performance. This band is tight and the songs get you from the beginning and never lets your go....If you like good rock with a touch of POP then this should to the trick! Royal Bliss has a fan for life"
GREAT CD

"You won't find this quality of music in a signed band, let alone a great unsigned band like these guys. This is a must CD for every collection! Every song is good from start to finish. Get ready to rock!"
