Synopsis

Product Description
Hi. Rondi Here.... "Thorny Bouquet" was recorded in the same studio I used for "Cache" in 2002-2003. Nestled in the snowy cascade mountains in CleElum, Washington I found a cozy place to take my little songs I wrote mostly on guitar and transform them into fully produced rock songs with the help of keyboardist/producer Bob VonFeldt. I am not your more typical songwriter touring the country in a van trying to "make it". I am a happy middle class average person in my day to day life teaching elementary music to children and raising two children of my own. I have just always written music and felt it was time to share some of my songs now the internet is a new 'animal'. This recorded music that I am sharing with you fulfills another musical aspect of my self, the more intrapersonal side that uses songwriting to contemplate peoples stories. Of course many songs develop from my own experiences but often spring into a story mixed with other peoples stories. For example, "The House That Guilt Built" came from watching a TV show about Sarah Winchester and the house she built onto until the day she died from the guilt she felt from the many people who died at the hands of her inherited fortune from the Winchester Rifle. About the same time I was listening to a sadnews story about a wealthy family in my home town who live in a beautiful house butlost a son to suicide and the strong hook of "House that Guilt Built" emerged into a song. I often times write to try to understand things that are perplexing to me and this is an example of that journey I take as a songwriter. I hope you find them interesting and pleasurable. I especially enjoyed my wonderful group of fine school teacher friends who played horn for "The House That Guilt Built"
