"The world is waiting to fall in love with Ron Miles. If they could only find this treasure.

Miles treats and plays the trumpet like a delicate emotion yet can be turbulent like an on coming Monsoon.

And everything in between. Last year in June at the Greek Theatre, he was a stand out and a crowd pleaser as one of Madeliene Peyroux's supporting musicians not because of any grandstanding with his trumpet but because he played beautifully and was able to accentuate Peyroux's performance. In "Witness," you'll get more of his impecable and gorgeous musicianship. Be entranced by his smooth intro in "A flower is a lovesome thing" beautiful!! and then imagine his digits flying in a blurr as he plays "Our Time" with swing precision. This album is truly dedicated to people who appreciate a consomate artist like Ron Miles. Bravo!"
