CD Reviews

Great Single!!!!
08/12/1999
(5 out of 5 stars)

"This is a great single! The first song is a radio edit of "Saint Of Me", it's shorter than the album version. The second song is an excellent full live version of "Gimme Shelter", unlike what is on "No Security." The next song is a cool re-mix of "Anybody Seen My Baby?" The last song is a "deep dish grunge garage dub" of "Saint Of Me." It's also really cool."

"Just FYI, there are at least 3 different Saint Of Me CD single releases.....the following tracks are available in different combinations: Saint Of Me (Single Edit) Saint Of Me (Radio Edit) Saint Of Me (Deep Dish Club Mix) Saint Of Me (Deep Dish Grunge Garage Dub) Saint Of Me (Tod Terry Extended Remix) Anyway You Look At It Gimmie Shelter (Live) In addition, the following mixes exist on 12" vinyl: Saint Of Me (Deep Dish Grunge Garage Remix) Saint Of Me (Deep Dish Rolling Dub) Personally, I like the single and radio edit versions best, but if you're into techno or dance mixes, the 12" stuff will appeal to you more as they run 7-13+ min."
CD Appeals to All Age Groups

"The first time I heard "Saint of Me," I didn't recognize it as a Rolling Stones' release. Selections are very diversified. Selections would appeal to "old timer" fans, or to younger generation just learning to appreciate the Rolling Stones. I thoroughly enjoy this CD and highly recommend it."
