I was prepared to hate it - Rod Stewart, a terrific rocker (in his time) has mostly become a self-parody. I guessed this was an opportunity to cash in on aging hippies like me who discovered a love for the GASB....But surprisingly, his interpretations are original yet faithful to the music. Quite listenable. Too bad he didn't do these records 20 years ago, when his voice was a better instrument.
