"It is not that either singer is in top form vocally, nor are they a perfect vocal blend. What makes this irresistible is the old fashioned "giving" that both these performers have,something about communication that seems to be lacking in many singers of the younger generation, and an old fashioned give and take that one rarely hears in singers at all these days. Jerzy Machwilsky is the superb pianist.

An early CD that is simply the reissue of an LP, the timing is not generous, but this is the real deal in artistry.

The sound recording, from a "live" French radio broadcast is superb.
