CD Reviews

Relaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaxing Instrumental Melodies
Henry R. Kujawa | "The Forbidden Zone" (Camden, NJ) | 05/30/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Part 2 of Wakeman's 1990 SUN TRILOGY, this is basically more of the same-- beautifully soothing instrumental synthesizer music, designed to help you relax, relieve stress, or sleep. I daresay this could also be recommended as "music to make love by". (Certainly moreso that, say, Led Zeppelin...) Also check out ASPIRANT SUNRISE, ASPIRANT SUNSHADOWS and for more in a similar vein, VISIONS."
Drifing Across The Sea of Tranquility
Sergey Lenkov | Mother Russia | 12/27/2005
(5 out of 5 stars)

"One of the best New Age ambient albums ever composed. While listening to it (of course not while you driving a car, but probably at the end of the day) you could imagine yourself riding your battleship through the "Sea of Tranquility" of (far from the city) hearing "Whispering Cornfields". The music would help you to relax, to keep the warmth in your soul (and so it would help you to live). Rick Wakeman works here like a landscape painter (say J. Turner). You could return to this album (like to the paintings of Turner) a week, a month or even a year later and find something new.

By the way, 300 000 listeners bought this and two other albums of "Suntrilogy".

If you like this CD - try "Aspirant Sunrise" and "The Natural World Trilogy"."
