Each time I listen to it I hear something new, and my level of enjoyment just keeps increasing.Ricks mixture of soulful composition and quality personel really highlight his skills as both an artist and producer, and trust me, he has some REALLY talented people working with him on this project. Starting with the lead song "Green Tomatoes" where he once again joins forces with "bwb" cohorts Kirk Whalum and Norman Brown for a SERIOUSLY funky jazz jam session, he features some of the top studio artists in the business on this CD. Rickey Peterson, Mitch Forman, Tony Maiden, Louis Conte, Randy Jackson, Alex Al, Paul Jackson Jr, Gerald "Wonderfunk" Albright, Gregg Karukas, and Jeff Lorber are some of the stars of smooth jazz contributing to this album.Rick covers all the moods on this CD, from the up-tempo funky "Green Tomatoes" and dance-able "Stereo", to the laid-back love ballard "Turquoise". This is really good stuff, and though he doesn't have any technically challenging performances here, the songs are well written, arranged, and very entertaining.
