CD Reviews

Great soundtrack cd for living in the day to day
Todd O. Picton | Seattle, WA USA | 12/14/2000
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This album was truly my soundtrack one summer when I drove around in a mustang with the top down. Richard Davies has a distinctive tenor voice, and an equally unique songwriter's wit. He brings up song after song which is novel, insightful, and often tonally sweet. But really my point is, this is some of the most gorgeous and memorable pop music of the last few years. It rocks. Folk and Prog influences seem evident to my ear, and it knows, man, this Aussie can string out a song. Flaming lips have been part of his compliment. He is contemporary and classic at once. Start with this album. You may find it playing frequently in your own soundtrack."
A true classic

"This is a classic album! If there are any fans of cardinal or eric matthews out there, then this record will knock you over! Great harmony and song structure. A must for late 60's music fans as well. DOn't hesitate."
