RayO is a national treasure

"Living in the SF Bay area I have been able to hear Ray Obiedo live for many years. He and the quality musicians he attracts are something special to my heart and mind. I love the concept that he has created... it makes my heart sing. The current album hits the mark. When I picked it up at the jazz festival his son was man-ing the table selling cd's and man what a great kid. He showed a wonderful liveliness and enthusiasm that reflects on his mother and dad. For my money anything from the Obiedo "tribe" is golden. Also, check out Sticks and Stones for the phenomenal work of Kenny Kirkland."
