CD Reviews

4-Tay's best album

"Commin' out of penitentiary Rappin' 4-Tay drops an excellent album for the 9-6. It's one of those albums that you can start listening to without skipping even one track. It's really close to being perfect. As usual Anthony Forte uses the oppurtunity to send some positive messages to his fans, talking about changing our ways and "keep it legit". But that's no it all. The album has it's playa edge with some awsome songs with that Bay Area flava. The producers on this album, most of which aren't big names, did an outstanding job, really! Every single track has just awsome music to it. Add that and Rappin' 4-Tay tight lyrics and delivery and you get an album which is a winner. The album also has really srong guest appearences by Too $hort, MC Breed, Lil' Fly, D-Moe, JT The Bigga Figga, San Quinn, Sef the Gaffla and more... Off Parole is Rappin' 4-Tay's second album. It's just a GREAT album and you'll really enjoy it. When you listen to 4-Tay rap, it's like listening to your friend giving you advices, and telling you different stories. 4-Tay's got to be one of the most down-to earth rappers in the indistry (how rare is that!!), and he's just a possitive. Don't get me wrong, 4-Tay is definitely not a sucka, he's a true OG in this game, reppin' that Sucka-Free ever since he was featured on Too $hort's album "Life is too short"."
Uses great music along with his smooth bay area flava

"Great album, this is the first album I bought of Rappin' 4-Tay and I wanna buy more of his but I don't live in the US and people outside the US is slow to get what's bangin.I bought it becouse I had heard 4-Tay's raps on TUPAC's ONLY GOD CAN JUDGE ME and thought he sounded excellent and sure enough on this album he did.All songs but about 2 songs are great, the best ones are: PAID MY DUES, BOOGIE BANG, KEEP THE GAME ON THE SHELF & HOLLA AT A PLAYA...If u enjoy westcoast rap like CELLI CELL, TUPAC, MC BREED u probably enjoy this a whole lot."
