Paganini's Moto Perpetuo is a piece written for Violin, but Mr. Mendez takes the trumpet to another level in recording this violin masterpiece. The first thing you notice is his uncanny ability to triple tongue, and the second thing you notice is that he doesn't stop to breath for four minutes and twenty one seconds. His circular breathing technique allows him to breath as he plays. Moto Perpetuo is the "crown jewel" in Mr. Mendez's illustrious recording career, and Trumpet Magic is the CD that best exemplifies his classical abilities and incomperable virtuosity."
